Walking Tour: Jewish neighborhood

Discover fascinating facts about the jewish community in Antwerp

Our guide will take you on a discovery tour through the neighborhood surrounding the central station. While walking through the diamond district and the small streets of the Jewish quarter, the guide will tell you more about the Antwerp Jews. First, you’ll learn how Antwerp’s Jewish community came into being. Then you’ll learn about the typical customs of the Jewish tradition, such as kosher food, Sabbath, and the mezuzah by the door. This tour passes Jewish bakeries, shops, and synagogues (we won’t go inside).
