Guided Tour Jewish Neighborhood

Explore the fascinating history of Antwerp’s Jewish community

Accompanied by a guide, you will walk through the diamond district and the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter, where you will learn more about Antwerp’s Jews. The guide will tell you about the origins of the Jewish community in Antwerp and introduce you to the typical customs and traditions of Jewish culture, such as eating kosher, respecting the Sabbath, and hanging a mezuzah on the door. During the walk, you will pass Jewish bakeries, stores, and synagogues (we will not go inside them).
